My Betta has a little bit of fin rot and I am still sort of treating him for but his tail seems to be growing back (there are white tips on the end of his caudal fin). He has been glass surfing and was wondering if these plastic plants would hurt his fins.

I prefer silk plants for my bettas, they are less likely to have any sharp points or edges that could catch their delicate fins.

I plan on getting real plants in July and I was wondering if I could prevent his glass surfing until then. I don’t want him to be bored

I think you'll be ok using them for a bit, just keep an eye on his fins. Are there any other decorations in his tank? Rocks, caves, and other things like that would also help keep him occupied and give him things to explore.

There is a cave like structure two water wisteria and one marimo moss ball.

The decorations sound good. Has he been in this tank long? If not, and he's only being treated there, he could just be a bit nervous still.

    The sending one looks good.

I would to the tissue test.

Make the decor a little damp, and drag a tissue paper over it multiple times. If it’s tears, it isn’t recommended to be in the tank. If not, it should be good.
