Are Sun Catfish a slow growing fish?

I bought a baby Suncatfish the same time as a baby Red Oscar and a baby albino Senegal Bichir and the Oscar and Bichir have tripled in size but my sun cat hasn't seemed to grow much at all. I see him with a belly full all the time. I feed him Tilapia, Scallops, Shrimp, Red Worms, shrimp pellets, fluval bug bites. Are they just a slow growing fish???

If i remember right, they do grow kind of slowly. Had some years ago. I really like them! Just don't have the room for that big of a tank. Definitely my favorite catfish though, for aquariums. They remind me the most of the catfish i catch at the lakes.
I stopped keeping them when they ate all my tetras!

They can be slower growing than fish like oscars and bichirs that are well fed.

Took me a minute to figure out what was eating my fish because of that. Only happened when i was at work and remembered to shut the tank lights off overnight
