2 weeks ago I got 3 female platies for my 10 gallon tank. They were in a mixed gender tank at pet smart. I think a couple or all of my platies are pregnant. if they are, I have a 5 gallon tank I will move them to. also, how long will they be pregnant before they have their fry?? thanks!imageimageimage

If they were in a mixed tank, they are most likely pregnant.
    Platies are almost always pregnant...

Bottom two look pregnant for sure... Not sure about top pic though... But chances are if they were in mixed gender tank then they are pregnant, livebearer females can store sperm for a while (upwards to 6 months, I believe)... Good luck! Fry are fun to raise

No, they are livebearers and will give a live birth, that's why its so easy to get overridden with them.;)

Yes your plats are pregnant. Most store bought plats are practically 24/7 pregnant
