10 Gallon Tank Are My Parameters Good? (Saltwater)

JtheFishMan

I just did a water test today . . . Just wanted to see if my parameters are good. My saltwater tank is 10 gallons, housing a pair of clowns, some blue-legged hermit crabs, a pipe organ coral, and a feather duster.

Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
ph: 8.0
KH (Carbonate Hardness): 80
Gh (General Hardness): 180

0 Nitrate isn't good long term. Corals need at least some level of nitrates to do well. I would look at raising your nitrate levels a bit. For a softy it probably should be in the 10ppm range.
