Are My New Snails Okay?

I’ll try to keep this short! I was given three golden mystery snails and they’re not moving. I’m afraid they’re dead. Can anyone help me please? My brother had them for three days and they haven’t moved so he gave them to me thinking I could save them! I’m not sure how to help the snails so any advice is appreciated! They’re just staying in their shells, I did notice one moved inside it’s shell!

Take them out and smell them. If they don’t smell like death, they’re alive.
What’s your water parameters?
Did you acclimate them?
Put any food in? Did he try to feed them?

They don’t have a smell! I did acclimate them! He put food in his tank, I have them in a separate holding container where I put most new fish that way I don’t accidentally transfer something bad to my tanks! I haven’t tried feeding them yet! Is parameters like temperature and pH levels? The temperature is kinda low 68°f and the pH is 7.4! All my other fish and snails live in the same water! He may have had them in water with bleach, I’m trying to get ahold of him to ask because he may have forgotten and accidentally put them in bleach water. I added the water he gave me in the bag to their container so I’m debating on emptying it and adding new water!

I don’t know how one would “accidentally” put a living thing in bleach water, but changing the water would probably be your number one priority.

I put them in my regular water without the water he gave me! He ran his tap water through bleach, I think he forgot and used his tap water to fill up his tank! But now they are in regular water which will be around the same parameters as I said before because I took it before I added the water he gave me! They’re still not moving, I put them up right because they were on their backs if that means anything!

Some stuff is leaking out of their shell! I’ve noticed it before but I’m not sure what it is!

It’s probably them reacting to something bad in the water. They need clean water and time. Do daily 50% water changes.
You also keep going back and forth if you added this suspected bleach water or not. If you put any of that water in, get rid of it.

Oh sorry, I’ve been feeling sick this week! I originally put his water with mine and they were in it, now they’re in regular water so no way bleach is in their water! ^~^ I’ll do daily water changes still tho! I hope they perk up! I realized their water has been staying sorta cool so I’m going to warm it up and see if that helps any!!
