Are moscow guppies good to breed?
I am considering starting to breed fish and I was thinking about doing blue moscow guppies. I was wondering how high their resell value would be? And if they would be a good fish to breed for beginners that would give me a little extra money?
Making money off of breeding fish isn't all that easy. If you get some good breeding stock, and if you find buyers who are interested in them, you could make some cash off of them. The big problem is finding the buyers.

I think you'd need a bit of experience with fish before trying to breed fish to sell. Guppies breed readily but it could be a while before you start to make a profit off them. You can look on Aquabid and see what breeding trio's and such are going for and that'll give you a good idea of what your fry could sell for if they're from good stock.
Thanks, sirdarksol and RogueAgent94,!!! Those answers are helpful!! Here are the two guppies I was thinking about- , I do think maybe I should get a little more experience before breeding the fish.
Yes I think you should definitely get some more experience with fish before you try to breed. Maybe a more common type of guppy so you can get to know the fish before you spend a bit of money on a nice strain would be best. First thing you need to learn about is the nitrogen cycle (just click on the underlined name).
yeah I am probably goin to start with a more common type of guppy or something. One of my friends is a fish breeder so he has helped me out with a lot of it. I already knew a little about the Cycling process but thanks for the link!! That gave me a little better understanding of it!
