Are low levels of aquarium salt safe for cherry shrimp?

so currently I am treating my 10 gallon with aquarium salt, as one of my fish needs the treatment. the tank is not normally treated with salt. there are no cherry shrimp in it as of yet but i would like to add some soon-ish

i'm waiting for the illness on the fish to be resolved, and the treatment hopefully should be done by next week or the week after. i know that aquarium salt does not break down, so once the fish is better i'll slowly start removing the salt through water changes.

i have 3/4 tablespoons of salt in 10 gallons of water. how many water changes do you think it will take for the salt to be mostly gone? and what can the cherry shrimp tolerate? TIA!

The fact you've only got fish in there you could start by doing a 50% give it 3 days and do another then do one more and you should be good, just remember to drip acclamation should be done at around 2 drops per second and do for a few hrs to get the new shrimp acclimatised to any residual salt

What I do is take a piece of airline tubing, tie a knot in it and start the drip in a cup. Tighten/loosen the knot until you have the perfect drip per second going then move the drip over to the shrimp to start their acclimation.
