Are Kuhlis Jumpers?

I’m a hair’s breadth away from adding some Kuhlis to my community tank.
To those of you who have or have kept Kuhlis, are they jumpers? I keep a mostly open topped tank, and filter outflow (hob) is barely above the waterline.
Assuming the tank itself is to their liking (clean, well planted, lots of hidey places), are they more likely or less likely to make a run for it?
Thx!!

Not jumpers as much as crawlers. Kuhlis, in my experience, will worm their way out of the tank. Here is a video I found on YouTube of a KuhlI loach climbing repeatedly out of it's tank.

Sump rhymes with bump!

I'm just concerned that with the outflow from the hob being almost right at the waterline, I'll have a flock of kuhlis in my hob, and none in my tank. Thoughts?

In 14 years I have never had my black kuhlis end up in my HOB or out of the tank, and I keep the water at the extreme top and do not block the punch-out open space in the back of the hood. However, I do keep the tank for the kuhlis - tons of cover and hiding places along the bottom, and no larger fish to spook them. They loop-de-loop sometimes but only skI'm the surface.
