Are Divided Male Betta Tank Ok

    i have a 7 gallon filterd heated cycled divided tank with 2 males they do flare a bit cause its a clear petsmart divider i have silk plants to cover it so they dont see each other that often is this ok? they have been with each other for about a week and a half now and flaring has got a bit better

    Try using black craft mesh. It'll help them not see each other as much.

    Try a black divider. If they can see eachother they will be very stressed and that can lead to diseases as well as fin bitting. A youtuber called LifeWithPets makes them and sells them, i have a few of her dividers :) She also has a video on how to make them! ( 10 gallon tank dividers, strong and sturdy. )

    I made one for my own 7 gallon, works well, basically no flaring
