No there fast swimming schooling fish, and need a lot of room to swim. A 20 long would be good for zebras

They are so active that they need more space both for their speed and the number required.

I keep 15 in a 20 g and I am happy with them although I find the life span is mostly under 2 years which is a bit short.

A larger number evens out aggression so fish can avoid being picked on.

I have kept danios In a 10 and they were NOT happy they are extremely active and need room to swim around as soon as I moved them to my 40gal they were much happier

I had glowlight danios in a 10 for a very short time and they never, ever stopped moving (quickly!) but had no where to go. I moved them to a 20L and they seem to enjoy the extra swimming space.

Can you specify what kind of danios? There are a couple of species that can be kept in a 10 gallon like celestial pearl danios and glowlight danios.

Nope. Move too much, need big groups, if not given enough room, they get feisty, learned that the hard way
