I was woundering what are some good live foods for my oscar ,Texas ,and convict cichlids I heard crickets aren't very nutritious so I was woundering if there's something I can feed them or is there a better live food to feed them
You know a good website to get any of those or do you usually get them from a LPS?You could try blackworms, bloodworms, and brine shrimp. They're a bit small, but I'm sure your fish would enjoy them.
You beat me to the answer.....Crickets are more nutritious if you gutload them first. Other options would be earthworms, blackworms, bloodworms, wax worms, or ghost shrimp.
I do not recommend feeder fish. Generally not very nutritious and prone to carrying diseases.
You can usually find eggs and cultures for these kinds of things on ebay. You know a good website to get any of those or do you usually get them from a LPS?
