Are All Crayfish Aggressive To Keepers?

Hello and good evening
I have been studying the past 2 weeks about blue crayfish and so I went to petco yesterday and purchased one (its in a tank by itself not with anything else) so my question is, is that how come when I come close to the tank it acts all aggressive towards me and trys to get at me, when I was fixing its little bridge in there it immediately went and tried to snap at me and grab me, so do all crayfish act like this or is mine just mean to me because at the pet store it was hiding and now at my house in its own tank with no other fish if I barley walk into my room and if it spots me it comes running and trys to get me , now I know that it can't get me of course its just I would not want to have to go and remove uneaten food or something and have it come and try to grab me so is this normal behavoir the tank is well cycled for 2 weeks here is a picture
The first picture is it at the petstore
And the second picture is it trying to be aggressive towards me
And yes it did surprisingly escape the tank today but I found it quick under a dresser, it was eating some fishfood that must of rolled under there on accident
This is my first crayfish by the way

Mine is really sweet and personable. I just got my second one today though, so I can't speak on him yet.

They're all territorial, but yours should get used to you in time. I even got mine out of the bag and into the tank with my bare hands and they just let it happen

I've only had one, but he never tried to go at me. Any time I reached in his tank, he either went about his business or hid. He would come up to the glass like that if I was watching him sometimes though.

It might also depend on which breed exactly you have. Some are more aggressive than others.

It's nice to see you again, welcome back!

I have heard that crayfish do this, it's a natural behavior for them, especially when they feel intimidated, but it could also be that they don't feel safe in their environment.
Eventually, it should stop this behavior, as it is still new to you and is most likely adjusting.
