Are African Dwarf Frogs Better In Groups Or Solitary?

popcornweasel

I’ve got an African dwarf frog in my 20-gallon long community tank, and he seems okay, but I was wondering if AFDs prefer company of their own species or if they’re fine being the only frogs in the community. I feed him frozen bloodworms and sinking carnivore pellets on alternating days, and occasionally frozen brine shrimp or mealworms.

Should I get another frog or two?

ADFs are social and are best kept in groups of at least 3. You could keep 4 ADFs in a 20 gallon.

I hadn't thought of this, thanks for asking the question!!!

I know I'm late to this party, but appreciate both the question and the response.
*My daughter has asked for frogs and I had no point of reference. Starting here!!
