I saw this on Facebook today. Aquarists have known for decades that quite a few fish, Oscars being a very common one, can recognise their owners (presumably their 'feeders'), even when we change colour (clothes). It takes scientific study a long time to catch up sometimes.

Don't forget Angels! Mine can tell the difference between me and my roommate and can remember which direction i went. Even after being distracted by my roommate they will return to looking out of the tank in the direction I went. My own recall isn't that good!;)
