    Hey,
I did a water change in my tank yesterday, and when I filled all the water back up, my heater had a purple light indicating it was out of water. It doesn't heat in that mode, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I tried turning it on and off, but that didn't work.
    Thanks

Did it come out of the water during your water change?

That would be the issue then. Always turn your heater off during water changes if the water level goes low enough to expose the heater. It may be damaged now.
