Hello folks....

I just wanted to pass along an experience of excellent customer service..

I noticed all of the community were meeting at one end of the tank. Hoping it was a block party! After investigating.... I found the temp was 68.....Yikes!!!!

I quickly replaced the 200 Watt preset Aqueon heater with a backup.

I called Aqueon aka Central Aquatics and explained the situation. After sending a screenshot of my Amazon order for the heater Valerie quickly took my name and information an shipped a replacement.

Customer service like this now a days is almost unheard of. Kudos to Valerie at Central Aquatics!!!!

Lucky you caught it. Agree, "Great" customer service, but... just recently had a few more failures myself. Have used them in all my tanks for 3+ years and recommended them. It appears their heaters are failing more often. So I am researching and testing a few other brands.

Good Luck!

I really think its the luck of the draw so to speak. I know there are no guarantees on any equipment really. Spending money on a product does not guarantee service from it. I have always tried to go middle of the road cost wise.

Agreed, sounds like great customer service!

I called Finnex when 2 of my heaters failed. My experience with them was the exact opposite of your experience.

I had a good experience as well. Mine was even one I had bought second hand from someone tearing down a fishroom and I have no idea how old it wa

I had to send them the failed heater with a note of my case number but, either way it was a week or so from phone call to new heater on my doorstep. So I do like that they stand behind the warranty without much hassle.

So if you have spares to absorb the failures it at least gives you the piece of mind in between.
