shrimp

my shrimp regularly disappear for weeks at a time and then reappear out of the blue just when I have decided they have been eaten by my angel, so don't give up on them yet.

Ok, I hope that's the case. I might even be looking right at them and not even notice.

The mondo grass is not full aquatic plants though, and will die eventually

Ya, I know. I learned that's what happens when newbs go to PetSmart before doing research! darn it

I heard they are so aggressive that in some cases they will kill each other off until there is only one left.

Nicely decorated. Love the volcanic rock (?) and the driftwood. Your tank will look very nice once the plants fill in.

Beautiful tank!
I don't know if you know, but your algae eater is a Chinese algae eater, which gets really big and aggressive, way too big for a 20 gallon
