shrimp

my shrimp regularly disappear for weeks at a time and then reappear out of the blue just when I have decided they have been eaten by my angel, so don't give up on them yet.

Ok, I hope that's the case. I might even be looking right at them and not even notice.

Tiger Barbs!

I heard they are so aggressive that in some cases they will kill each other off until there is only one left.

Nicely decorated. Love the volcanic rock (?) and the driftwood. Your tank will look very nice once the plants fill in.

Great job.

Your large piece of wood kind of appears to be in the shape of an elephant.

Beautiful tank!
I don't know if you know, but your algae eater is a Chinese algae eater, which gets really big and aggressive, way too big for a 20g

Ya, that was a newb mistake on my part. I think I know of a good tank to donate it to when it starts getting too big

It's CaribSea Super Naturals sand, mixed with a little bit of smooth stone gravel. It's the only sand I've used but I like it a lot so far. The grains are very fine so it can't be used with UGfilter or burrowing animals. Its really easy to clean

Very nice and natural looking too. I know you put a lot of thought into designing it. Great job!
