Hey guys looking to aquascape my 29 gallon tank and I have no idea what to do.. I have about 15 pounds of dragon stone left from a previous scape. This is the tank in my living room I have neglected the scape on for years. Now it's time to be a focal point in our living room

This is my 29 with dragon stone. Not the best but it’ll do. The plants obvisouly haven’t grown in yet lol. I did a lot of googling “dragon stone aquascape” there’s a lot of cool pictures out there! Check out Nigel95 there's some really cool pictures

I recommend checking out some aquascaping articles on the internet, some terms to know are golden ratio/rule of thirds, aquascaping layout types, how to hardscape, and for inspiration TakashI Amano. Then watch The Green Machine, ADU aquascaping, and George Farmer on youtube to apply that knowledge

live or fake plants? substrate?
Live plants for sure. I want to use dragon stone but I also have lava rock from a previous scape as well. I plan on using some anubias that I've been growing for a few months now in my pond

Are you doing low tech or high tech? I also had no idea anubias could grow in a pond

I would not mix rocks, it gives a scape a slightly bizarre appearance. I would use the type of rock you have more of, so you have greater choice.

It's indoor, it's just a large kiddie pool I grow plants in

I'm probably going high tech but I stick with my t5 bulbs. Now I don't have much as far as filtration and co2 go, I might not actually have any spare co2 in my house, I may just buy a full new setup.

Yeah, except finding a place for all of this rock was fun lol, I thought id put a lot in my tanks, but with 200 pounds already in the existing tanks, we ended up building me a shed for all of my large pierces of hardscape

That's ridiculous, considering how a lot of online stores sell aquascaping rock for 3.99 a pound for the more common rocks... You have $2000 worth of dragonstone aloneead:
But yes, with all that you should have more than enough to come up with a nice rock layout!

Originally they were selling all of the rocks for $1 /lb. So I asked what if I bought all of it.. I haven't even opened the pallets.. Lol there are 8 crate pallets in my basement.. I was trying to use the leftovers I had from a previous build, and I was going to use the new hard scape in all of my other tanks to freshen them up
