Aquascape - Java Fern Is Dying Help

    I think java fern has a rhizome which shouldn't be buried in the substrate. if I t is make sure you take it out.

    you can probably also reduce the amount of light to something like 10 hours a day

    How long have you had it? Its common for new plants to go through a brief melting period as it establishes to the new conditions.

    Watch for black dots on back of leaves it will get tons of babies soon. You wont have issues soon just dont bury the new batch and glue them to a rock or wood.

    Yeah. Give it a couple more weeks and new leaves should start growing. As long as the rhizome remains green, the plant is still healthy.
