Aquarium Stand Sturdy Enough?

Django

Hello everyone. I have an empty 20 gallon tank that I would like to put back into use. I want to place it on top of a floor cabinet on the second floor of my house. It seems pretty sturdy to me and I think it will support the weight of a 20 gallon tank. However I would like a second opinion. I would feel better about it. Here’s a couple of pictures.

Looks like a TV stand built for an old tube tv. Those things are heavy! Yeah, a 20g should be no issue

Django

Thanks. Yes it is heavy.

I understand your fear, every time I've set up a new aquarium I spend the first week anxious that the stand will somehow spontaneously collapse. I agree with BigManAquatics though, I think as long as the edges of the tank aren't hanging off or anything like that you should be fine.

I like your collection of scooby doo figs!
