Some questions, Pwilly:
1- You live in Midwest like me, so its cold now. How are you keeping your water lettuce, water hyacinth alive? I brought mine indoors from pond and most of it died. I bought a grow light and its helping on the indoor "ponds" but how do YOU do it? Do you have them all in regular glass tanks instead of tubs?
2-Any plans to breed other colors of shrimp besides the RCS?
3-Any guppy grass, baby tears, ground cover plants?
BTW---I'm pretty sure I have my FIRST pregnant/berried female RCS! So exciting!

Yes they are big enough. At least 0.5-0.75 inches or more. Some are juveniles now too. 20191120_182154.jpg

Here's some of the parents and you can see the fry/juveniles swimming by the moss. Sorry for glass being a little dirty. Since I don't have a show room, cleaning glass isn't most important right now. Healthy, vibrant fish is my current concern. I get good ratios of male to female in this tank so if you get fry, it will most likely be 1:1 or maybe even an extra female in there. 20191125_005840.jpg20191125_005901.jpg20191125_005905.jpg

I have new fry and original fry are now juveniles about 3/4" long and are definitely big enough that they will not be eaten unless you have a bigger fish. Even juvenile angelfish won't eat them at this point. Some good cover will reduce stress just in case, but with just moss they are happy are getting their colors nicely. With this strain the original females are 2.25 inches long and the new young mothers are catching up at 1.75 inches. The males are around 1.75 inches with beautiful fins.

I have a bunch of females. I have some males in another tank, but it got hit by what seemed to be columnaris that got better 5 days ago. A female just had fry in there so I'm thinking it is better, but I won't know for sure for another few weeks. I do have some blue green moscows that look super cool though.

Any idea when you may have some red ramshorns available? I'm interested in some blue for sure, but would be also interested in red too. How big are the blues?

I just sold about 30 reds so it will be a little bit before I can get a good amount again. The blues range in size from a pea to a dime. I have quite a few of them, 50 would be a safe number, but maybe more. I can keep you updated when I have more red ramshorn.

Yes, you sure can!! Can I have an email and a zipcode so I can get the correct shipping cost and send a PayPal invoice? It helps keep things straight on what I make on the forum vs. other costs or earnings.

What growing conditions do the narrow leaf temple like? The tank I want to try it in is no CO2, moderate flow, Finnex 24/7 that’s on for 9 hours including sunrise and sunset, GH of 6-7, KH of 2, and ph of 7.5

Perfect conditions!! My 29g temple plant tank has sponges and aqua-tech 40-60 filter so.the water is almost always moving in most parts. My pH is 7.6 GH is 9-11, but 6-7 should be fine, KH is 3-4, and the good Beamswork on it for 12 hours a day. I will send root tabs for $2.00 if you'd like. I'd give you enough to feed the temple plant for about a year. The growth rate quadrupled with the root tabs vs. without. Please let me know what you'd like me to do.

Let me go see! My females just had fry about 10-14 days ago. I marked tanks, but honestly forgot which is which till I'm down there. I normally get 80% females so I'm hoping these batches throw males. Once I have males I'll know when they will be ready for sure. Please give me about 15 minutes and I'll get back to you.
