Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Stress Zyme is this a good thing to help cycle a tank? Never heard of it before just curious

I don't think it helps with tank cycling. I think it's more of a slime coating booster.

Stress Coat is the coating booster, Stress Zyme is "supposed" to help with cycling. However, it is along the lines of the product 'Cycle' which the majority of users here that have tried that saw that it didn't really help. I've used a similar product from Seachem called 'Stability' which didn't seem to help any either. Basically it's thought that the bacteria that these guys are using isn't the right type and won't stay in your tank long enough to help with much of anything. The right kind of bacteria is apparently used in Bio-Spira and that has to be refrigerated up until you use it to keep the bacteria alive. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try it though, and be sure to tell us how you faired ;D.

I used StressZyme & it didn't do ANYTHING! it seemed a waste of $$ to me.
