I picked up a 90g acrylic tank a few months ago and didn’t want to be “stuck” with a black or blue background so I purchased a tank with a clear background.
I decided to try something out and bought a 24” x 48” sheet of black pvc foam from Lowe’s for $36. I’m really happy with how it turned out as a background! Installation was a snap and took about 90 seconds. It came perfectly sized. It rests on the back edge of the tank stand surface, and is held against the tank by the filter tubes (the FX6 mounts act as a clip and hold it snugly against the tank).

I had a custom made print out of vinyl for my 55 gallon tank and taped it on the back using clear gorilla tape. I sent the image to and they did this for around $48.00.
