In my AC filters I use Seachem Purigen instead of carbon. Works great.
Do you buy it already in the bag or do you get it loose and put it in your own bag?

I’ve done both, you just have to make sure to get a bag that will hold the Purigen. You can use pantyhose if you go with a loose bottle. The beads are so small they’ll go through a lot of filter bags.Do you buy it already in the bag or do you get it loose and put it in your own bag?

Yeah that’s my only concern. I probably would get it in the bag Seachem sells it in.
I meant to ask you.. how long does carbon typically last for before it stops working?
