So, I'm really bored, so I figured, I would start up April's poll for the article. For those that don't know what this is about, it is a poll to see what fish everybody wants to learn about and add to the selection of fish species on the main site. SabI and I write the article that goes in the magazine and we ask any members here if they have had any experience with the fish, and if we forget someone, just don't be scared to tell us you have had some with the winning fish. The poll ends on the 10th of April and the winner will be determined by the number of votes per fish. Each person gets 2 votes for the fish they want to win, but you can't vote for the same fish twice. I guess I better cut it off since I am starting to ramble on. Have fun voting. Pics will be coming soon.

Can I recommend a fish for the next poll? If so I would recommend the Yellow Lab Hybrid Chichlid.

I voted dwarf cory and zebra cichlid. I think they are both very intriguing fish. If I had to pick one it would be the zebra, as I have never kept cichlids and I think they are neat fish and want to learn more about them.

I voted for the cory and the pleco, the cory, because I've been hearing so much about them lately, and the pleco because a lot of people get them not realizing how much space they need, plus they are really cute hehe.

This is a clown pleco, it is a dwarf pleco that only gets to about 4" and is fine in a tank over 20 gallons. They are cute little things though. Thanks for voting.

Hey thanks for postin the silvertips. I kind of forgot about it.
I've got plenty of info on em if you need any.

Here's a little bit better pic of a silvertip. The males have a reddish tint to their fins, not like this one. They closely resemble the gold tetras, some may easily confuse them.

Hi!

Watch him. Chances are he won't live - Hatchets need schools or they're worse than Discus...

I've had one that was alone for about 6 months before it died, so I don't think they need to, but they prefer it compared to being alone.

Ya, Ive heard that hatchets are hard to keep because they don't like moving and even after they've settled they don't live very long. He's been alone since November and he is still extremely healthy.

Hi!

Hatchets are hard to keep when not in schools. He needs a school - and he ain't extremely healthy! He might look healthy - but he needs a school to be healthy really.

Hi!

Really. Remember - when a fish looks fine it isn't always the case. He's probably terrified - "no friends, a predator could sneak up on him!" and so on... I have 8 commons and they are great. They are very active and love to chase each other around sometimes, but sometimes they all sit at different levels near each other and look very impressive next to the plants, and when it's lights out they wizz around and play; their silver scales shimmering like glitter. It's why I love them. At times they're funny and playful, at times they are grand and make the tank look splendid, at other times they're magical flashes of light in an otherwise dark aquarium.
