To enter this contest you simply need to post a single photo per post in this thread and the most reactions/likes wins.

IMPORTANT - You can enter multiple photos but only one photo per post. Pictures must be taken by you. Pictures also need to be inserted into posts as attachments or thumbnails. Links to images on other sites (imgur, photobucket) won't work in the ranking calculations this add-on uses for some reason.

Due to the new feature that merges back-to-back posts within 4 hours, please wait until 4 hours has elapsed or someone posts after your post to prevent the posts from being merged.

Also, no comments in the contest threads please because of the votes being counted by the number of "likes" per post.

The thread will be closed at the end of the month and the winner announced. Winners get a $20 gift code for amazon.com, amazon.ca or amazon.co.uk, so only US, CA and UK residents should participate at this time.

I would like to put my manacapuru red back angel forward. It was incredibly hard to get a picture of it staying still and unfortunately it was when it was in front of the heater and outlet. I'm hoping he colours up more strongly with maturity.

This is Otter, our Zodiac Loach who died about two weeks ago.

Zodiac Loaches are native to South India. The traditional zodiac sign of when we got him is Aquarius, however, this translates to the otter in India (I later learned that this may be a mistranslation, but too late now, and Otter also fits it's ornery personality, and yes; total Animal House reference here). Otter hides a lot and while he's supposed to be introverted, he's been a little **** to some of our new tenants, most notably one of our corys and our pleco, to be introduced later. He does have a couple specific hiding spots, one shown here is under a ledge of The Caverns. Otter is cool and looks like a hyper little sea serpent when he zips around the tank.

Sorry but I reset my previous tank as I succumb to the fact that I need higher tech. I started a new tank which is a fake ocean tank: Freshwater, using coral as decoration and Subwassertang which resemble seaweed. This causes the tank being an alkaline hard water aquarium. Please don't mind.
