I recently had a custom acrylic tank made and had the fabricator frost the back panel. However, you can still see the power cords, etc. through the panel. Therefore, I would like to apply a layer of vinyl film to the entire back of the tank. I've heard the films that contain adhesives can be troublesome? I bought a role of the static cling type, but I'm not sure if it will stick. The roll is too small, so I have not yet attempted it. Anyone have experience with this?

No experience with this but could you try window tint and a a spray bottle and squeegee to see if it’ll hold? Just a suggestion. Not sure it’ll hold on acrylic like it does to glass but possibly worth a shot. What size tank is it

I just put one on. It went really smooth. I think it will stay. I'll post some pictures in my tank build thread.
