I got these 2 golden rams yesterday, and I noticed them seem to have really red gills, nostrils and the spot where the fins connect to their body. I'm wondering if this is ok?
They're two males, both have these markins, but one of them (smaller one) appears to have adapted to my tank alright, he's exploring and eating, overall seems ok. The other one, which is a bit bigger, seems lethargic, almost like he's drifting away slowly, and appears to be breathing heavily? He doesn't react when I stick my hand insde the aquarium, I have even been able to push him a bit, as well as gently grab him. He spendt yesterday and most of today on the bottom of the tank, but now he's at the surface, looks like gasping for air. I feel he's sick. The gills of both of the fish seem flared outwards as well, not sure if this is normal physiologyu of rams (never had any, first time), but figured out it was better to ask.
Any ideas of what this might be? Is this ammonia burn? Just stress? Did they fight each other? The guy I purchased them from had them both in a 20 gal tank, along with a few others that he had sold, these were the last 2 males.
My tank parameters are 0/0/15-20, 6.8 pH and around 200ppm TDS. I haven't checked hardness (kit is on the way But I'm fairly certain my hardness is low, I do 40% water changes with RO water and just a tiny bit of tap (to replenish minerals).
Here are some photos as well as a short video of the fish where you can appreciate the redness I'm talking about, mostly around the gill area but also with small specks close to the mouth, and the "joints" of the fins.

Thank you, hope these guys are alright.
