Anything that I should know about the albino bristlenose pleco?

    Nothing out of the ordinary. They do require bogwood in the tank. And if you have algae, don't go nuts cleaning every bit of it up. BNs rely on algae as a part of their diet, but you also want to offer things like wafers and veggies. They're neat fish that keep to themselves. Good choice.

    That most species are omnivores that need protein/meaty besides vegs/algae in certain stages of their life.

    As others stated try to include variety in their diet. They also like blanched veggies like leafy greens, spinach, and zucchini. As for the wood, you can find this in most any pet store, I found mine in the reptile section, made by "Zoomed". It lists on the label that is ok for aquarium or terrarium, and I believe it is Mopani wood.
