Anything Else?

In my 10gal I have 3 cories, (1 panda, 1 emerald, and 1 peppered), and 2 sunset platys. What else should I add if any? Yes, I know that people say that cories need more than 10gal and that they need to be in groups of six or more of one type but mine are thriving and doing well. I would really like some more fish to make the tank more vibrant.

The Platies shouldn’t be in there either. I don’t think anyone will give you suggestions unless you get a larger tank.

How do you know the cories are thriving?

Your cories aren’t thriving, unless they told you. If you want more fish, get a bigger tank.

My three cories are always playing with each other and swim all around the tank. My 2 platies chase each other around the tank and are always active. Both of my platies are male as well so they are not going to produce any fry.

Put it this way. Primates are schooling Keeping three different cories like that is like keeping primates (of different species). It's almost solitary confinement.

Hope this made sense sometimes I babble nonsense.

Cories will still group with other species of cories if their own species aren’t there.

I’m just saying if you want more fish, you’ll need a bigger tank because even those current fish shouldn’t be in your tank.
