Anyone order from Discus.com?

In the next 6 months or so I'm looking at setting up my 90 gallon for discus. I was wondering if anyone has ordered anything from discus.com or heard anything about them?

 

I believe that simplydiscus.com has a list of reliable sellers and vaguely i believe discus.com is one of the less reliable sellers 86 ssinit is probably familiar with what sites are reliable and unreliable for discus.

 

Buy from Hans unless you have experience with discus .
Personally I don't think I will ever buy Asian discus but others have and like them ..
IMO Hans / Germans are just stronger .
SD has many respected sellers listed . I would look hard at

• Winnie's Discus (Ceyhun,Breeder/Owner) -Jackson Heights, NY

He has strong German discus he has bred himself . I beleive he has Piwowarski in his lines which are the best of the best and nearly if not impossible to find in the US..

I will look into those. I am wanting these but I can't find them anywhere else. If you happen to know anything about them it would be greatly appreciated.

 

I believe Discus .com are low grade Asian discus ..
I think 86 does have experience with them and many other discus from many sellers .
They definitely will steer you away [far away] from buying from Discus .com on Simply Discus ..They are very friendly and knowledgeable members and staff there ..Questions are free!
Read reviews ..look for very high reviews only .
All my discus are Hans ..Like I said I will never buy Asian discus .
Most people end up losing fish fast when they mix Asian and German discus so it is really kind of important you have made the right choice from the very beginning ..
What are you looking for specifically ? Almost everyone has the same colors ..

Started reading that thread today and 86 has a discus that looks identical to what I'm wanting ( third picture at the beginning), I just don't know what kind it is and where he got it. I linked the discus I am wanting up top. If you happen to know where I can get a reputable line that looks like that, I would be grateful. I am looking forward to reading more of that thread.

Lol just seeing this . Unfortunately that was one of my first 6 and store bought. It’s some type of snake skin mix.
As coral said Hans has the strongest discus you’ll find. Good prices pretty reliable shipping. Great beginner fish. He’s got blue snakeskins and German wonders.

Lol those are the exact two I was looking at. I've looked on almost every site now and hans has the closest ones to what I'm looking for. And the price is really good. Thanks guys for the help.
