Usually I keep a group of 5 or 6 of the same type together in a tank alone, feed them blood worms, shrimp pellets and foods high in protein for about 3 0r 4 days. Then do a huge (50%) water change with water about 3 degrees cooler than the water they are currently in. If they are old enought to spawn they will become very active(within the next day) almost hyperactive. Then they will start laying eggs on the tank glass and leaves of plants. After they finish laying eggs the adults need to be removed.
