I know they aren't ferrets, but they are related and I thought it would be the best place to post this. Does anyone know ANYTHING about Martens? I thought since they are similiar to ferrets they could be kept as a pet? As long as their specific needs were met, such as dietary, a little 'habitat' for sleeping in, appropriate toys for entertainment, etc. This question is hypothetical of course, though it would be amazing to keep one!

All i know is that it is a type of weasel.

I had a ferret once and it smelled horrible and it got into EVERYTHING. When i would let it out to play it would climb and knock anything over it could.

Never again will i own a ferret. It was worse than a 2 year old.
