Anyone In Houston/san Antonio?

I live in the Houston area and I was wondering if there was anyone else on here that pursues the hobby in Texas. I have been looking for new LFSs because I am not entirely satisfied with the stores that I have visited, whether it was because of their selection, prices, product availability, etc.

What is your go-to LFS here in the Houston area? Rather, what is your go-to store here in Texas? I don't mind driving a little excessively far. I visit San Antonio frequently, so knowing a good store there would be more convenient than it sounds.

Any tips, advice, info, addresses, or links would be greatly appreciated.

 

Aquarium World is a nice store. The selection isn't too bad and it's fun to hang around and look at the giant tank and the ponds.

 

Where in Houston have you gone? I go to Houston and Austin frequently, though I prefer Houston because there are some really cool stores there.

I have been to both Fish Gallery stores in Houston, Fish R Us, That Aquarium Place, a Cichlid based store I can't remember the name of, and a few general pet stores. I dropped by a couple others that were saltwater orientated, but freshwater is what I am focused on. It's not that any of those stores are bad, they just don't always have what I need or want. I regularly have to visit multiple stores to find everything I need

 

I really like Houston Aquarium Warehouse and Aquarium Design Group (especially ADG - favorite store I've ever been to - so fantastic).

I will definitely have to check those stores out. I'm sort of looking for everything, I plan on setting up a few different tanks soon and I wanted to find places with a wider variety of livestock and/or the ability to have them order specific fish from their supplier. I also like being able to browse through choices and know what all is locally available. In short, I guess I just want to know all of my options out there.

 

ADG gets some really cool and rare fish, so definitely check them out.

 

ADG set up my discus tank and hooked me up with fish. It's kinda far from my house though.

 

I live in texas, but more by Dallas.
I go to Glass Aquatics for my fish, my supplies I go to my petco.

My petco has good supplies, but not as good fish. I like the bettas, but not the tropical ones.
I've only got a few fish there, I have a farther off petco that has better fish.
