I was looking at them for a new plant addition to the tank .

I have one in my 40 gallon, doesn't seem to need much light and I don't use fertilizers. Its doing pretty well. It shoots these stems with a little lily pad looking leaf on top to the surface and after a while the stem dies and I snip it off. It's a pretty snazzy plant, I would get one

I really like banana plants. They don't take much care, and can easily grow in a low light, low tech tank. Just don't bury the banana like rhizomes into the substrate.

I just got one a couple weeks ago. It has already sprouted a new little lily pad leaf. I like it a lot!! Its one of my new favorites! I would suggest it...it appears to be a pretty easy plant.

I have two. They've survived snail attacks and seem fine in ambient light. Pretty hardy little guys.
