I've got some guppies that I am pretty sure are pregnant. Looking at some youtube videos, it surprised me a bit but several people just leave the parents in with the frys along with the other fish, all together, they just say make sure there is plenty of plants for the fry to hide in.

So what are some of the top plants that are good for fry to hide in, but are generally newb/low tech friendly?

Thanks!!!

Java moss - impossible to kill, and basically forms a big mess of moss if you let it grow. Perfect fry cover, IMO.

Anubias - not the leaves, but if you have an Anubias with a large root structure, those are great for fry to hide in.

Those are the two that come to mind as being super beginner-friendly to me (along with Java Fern), but really any plant will offer cover to guppy fry. Even fake silk plants. PVC pipe. Large diameter straws. Doesn't take much!

Hornwort and guppy grass I find very fast growers and thick cover.
