Any snail buffs out there?

I'm trying to ID this guy so I can keep him healthy and happy! He came from a small lake. Any info would be helpful and greatly appreciated! Thanks

 

I'd guess Chinese mystery snail. From what I could find through the wonders of google, sounds like they're an invasive species in the US and Canada from the fishing trade. Run a google search for lake snails and you'll get a ton of links and such that I think are the right snail, though they're much less covered is stuff than this little guy. I'd try taking care of it like a standard mystery snail and see how that goes, but from the sounds of it, he may get pretty big.

Also, we do actually have a snail section in the freshwater inverts, so if you end up with more questions about him, they'll probably be seen better there.

I love snails, too! Are you in it's native range?

 

If u ask me looks like a mud snail not 100% sure though.
