Looking to get a nice big tank to put most of my fish in. I was set on a Juwel 180 or 240 Rio (or 180 or 260 Vision) but worried the filters they come with are not good enough for my stock.

What else is out there that is tried and true? (And available in UK!)

I see someone with a Rio 240 with high stocking, they are using stock filter too I think:

If you like the tanks listed, but are worried about their internal filters, you can always supplement them with a canister or HOB. The nice thing about running two filters is that you can stagger the cleaning schedules so one is always at its maximum bio filtration availability; you have to figure that even if you just rinse your bio media in de-chlorinated water, you're still flushing away some of the good bacteria. The other is that if one filter fails you've still got some filtration, because you know that when one is ready to go it will pick your busiest day or Christmas or New Year's Eve to do it :)
