any one ever use a hps on a fishtank

    Good morning,

    Please tell us all what HPS stands for. "The plants were"...? I have no clue as to what this thread is about.

    Note: When you use abbreviations such as HPS, it's always helpful to type out the words first and then put (HPS) in parentheses directly after it. From that point on, you can refer to the abbreviations. Not everyone is familiar with all of the abbreviations some folks use. It's simply good forum etiquette.

    Always make your posts/threads clear so that everyone can understand. It will help you to receive more responses. :)

    HPS= high pressure sodium growth lights for plants?

    yes high pressure sodium. used a grow light because I wondered if intensity truly compensated for color spectrum defiency...... btw it does
