Any Low-tech Carpeting Plants?

Hi, everyone!
Do you guys have suggestions for a low-tech carpeting plant I could try that isn't java moss? (I'm not too fond of it's messy look as a carpet). It would be for my 10 gallon and 5 gallon tanks. In the 10 gallon I've got an 8watt LED light and I douse Seachem flourish and excel regularly for my other plants. The 5 gallon has a 3watt LED light. I use an aquasoil for both tanks, btw.

Most carpeting plant will need CO2, light, and fertilizers there is no low tech carpeting plant, for optimal conditions, you’re looking at trimming your carpet at least once every 10 days since you tanks are small I will go with Cuba, Glosso or Dwarf Hairgrass they all going to be challenging

 

Cuba. I've grown tons of it with nothing but plant substrate. It's grows like a wild fire

 

Micranthemum monte carlo is a decent low tech plant, though it still likes good lighting. The aquasoil will help, are you using ADA? Marsilea can also be low tech, but is very slow.

Are you sure it's HC and not monte carlo?

Ahhh I just knew I wouldn't have a lot of options with the equipment and stuff I have still great to know there are a bunch of things I could try! Much thanks, everyone!

Micranthemum tweedieI - "Monte-Carlo"
Sagittaria subulata - "Dwarf sag"
Hemianthus micranthemoides - "Baby Tears" (regular, not dwarf)

 

Anubias Nana petite, LOTS of it. Bulletproof low light carpet.

Or some species of bucephalandra.
