My cousin is obsessed with Doctor Who, and has actually met Matt Smith. At first I thought Doctor Who was weird, but now I am also obsessed with it!

David Tennet was the best, I haven't watched the lasted season yet, but they are pretty good. I don't like the new guy though...

Yeah David Tennant was awesome. By 'new guy' do you mean Matt Smith or Peter Capaldi?

Peter Capaldi, I wish they hadn't changed Clara out either, she was one of the best "companions". I think the best companion was Amy Pond though. I haven't given him to much of a chance since I haven't watched the new season I can't say whether or not I truly dislike either of them, but they keep changing the ones you really like. I'm hoping they'll bring David Tennent back somehow...

Yeah I realt liked Amy and Clara. I've watched some scenes with CapaldI and he's pretty good. It's like they went from 25 uear olds to 70 year old grandpas, lol! I hope they bring David back too. He'a cute and funny.

Ahhhg it's hard to type with my ipod because it's so small, so I mess up a lot...

Haha don't worry about the typos, I do that all the time(I had a typo while I was typing this)... He was definitely the best, I don't know how they would, but they should. It's one of those things that just need to be done haha. I'm wondering if they'll ever have a women doctor who? Hey say they can be whichever gender, but they only ever had males. Guess it might be controversial since he had a wife and kids... That's so true, it was old, old, old, old, young, young, young, then old. They're trying to mix it up I guess. Haha.

Yeah I have wondered if a women will ever become the Doctor. I feel like watching an episode right now. I am re-watching season 5. I've also watched season 4 and 7 but not 6 yet.

Oh my gosh yes!

Amy and Rory were my favorites! I was so sad to see them go.
I was sad to see 11 go also.
But CapaldI does such a good job.

2. Rosa
3.Clara
is it just me or is the word companions sound creepy?

Yeah, it does. How about "people that I drag from their everyday life to scare to death and then travel in my weird box with for several years until they are promptly removed from my life in a gruesome way"

That should be the discription... He really does, best friends for years, falls in love with women, then suddenly drop them off with a house and car, or in alternate universe, which ever suites him at the time. He's kind of like a stalker that brainwashes his captives if you think about it... Haha. Have you guys seen the HISHE Bad Wolf? Pretty good.

I too enjoy a good Who. I haven't watched in new in quite some time as we shut off the cable to save $$. I wanted to rewatch it recently and was quite disappointed to find it had fallen off of Netflix.

My favorite classic Doctor would be Pertwee, while my favorite modern Doctor is easily Tennant.

For me it is a toss up between Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi. Of the classic doctors I would have to say Sylvester McCoy.

I have not seen a whole CapaldI (he is the current guy, right?) episode. I have seen limited Matt Smith, and I do like him, just not as much as Tennant. I have only seen (actually own on DVD because I thought it was multiple episodes) a single Sylvaster McCoy/Ace episode. Something about Daleks in a high school.

I like the Pertwee episodes largely for the Master story arcs, which I know do extend to other incarnations as well. My favorite classic episodes are The Three Doctors and The Chronovore.

I love that episode!!!

It is a good episode, although I have not watched it in a while. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I even bought that one is because Ace kinda looked like a friend of mine who I had a huge crush on at the time.

I love a good binge of The Doctor.

My faves are Tennant and Smith. I think CapaldI makes a great doctor, but after River saying how every time she meets the Doctor he's younger, it threw me off a bit gong older. I need to rewatch the CapaldI episodes again.

Ah, the wonders of non-liner temporal metaphor. Just as much fun as non-linear temporal physics. I always took that to mean in relation to herself, rather than as a commentary on his apparent physical age. Kind of the same way my wife keeps looking at Facebook and getting all worked up over the fact the kids she used to baby sit are in high school now.

LOL, that's funny.

I never thought of it that way. I usually have to watch the Doctor when my hubby is out or not paying attention. He makes fun of the Daleks. It is pretty funny, but there is some really touching dialogue between the characters.

I'll rewatch those episodes now differently. Thanks.

If so, Who is your favourite doctor, what is your favourite alien and do you have any doctor who merch?

Mine is Matt Smith, 11th doctor. And I've always loved the Ood, though weeping angels place a close second. As for merch, the only thing I've managed to get is these awesome socks.

Really not much of a Dr. Who fan but I have seen an episode every now and then. My favorite Dr. was Peter Cushing but then I always liked him in everything he did. He was in a couple of the movies, not the Series.

David Tennant, 10th doctor. I started following Dr Who in 2006 (2nd season of reboot). I've watched a few of the earlier ones too but I'm not really a fan that collects Dr Who stuff but it's entertaining.

Daleks are too easy. I'll go with Cybermen but the Weeping Angels and The Silence are close.

I'm not sure how I feel about the 13th being a woman. All this liberal PC culture seeping into entertainment is getting really annoying. I've already stopped watching a bunch of shows. I really hope Jodie Whittaker is good as the Doctor.

If Matt Smith hadn't been a doctor, Tennant would've been my choice. I can't remember when I started, I think about the same time you did. I'm not so crazy a fan I collect stuff, I just have the odd thing, most are figurines I've made. I do like the daleks, but I prefer the original ones. The silence are great as well. Ah the 13 dr. I'm on the fence about her. I won't have a problem if she's a good actor and sticks to being the doctor and doesn't go crazy trying to make herself stand out. What I have a problem with is, back in the beginning she said that if ppl didn't like her as the dr. It'd be because she's a woman. She made it impossible for ppl to dislike her because now it'll be about her gender and not her acting skill.

I've seen her in a couple of other shows (Black Mirror and Attack the Block) and she's pretty good. I'm worried about the writers being too PC.

I highly recommend Black Mirror.
