Obviously there's NANFA for this, but NANFA is a quiet forum...anyhow, I am looking for fishes that (A) can tolerate temps down to 50 or lower (for my water garden) and (B) can be kept in a 10 gallon when not in the water garden. Have any thoughts? I have so far come up with the following;
- Elassoma evergladeI and zonatum (pygmy sunfishes...not sure if the others are cold hardy enough)
- Lucania sp (Bluefin/rainwater killifish)
- Leptolucania (Pygmy killifish)
- Heterandria Formosa (Least killifish)
- Jordanella Floridae (American flagfish)
- Enneacanthus sp? (Banded, blackbanded, and bluespotted sunfishes, may be too big)
- Cyprinodon variegatus? (Sheepshead minnow, may be too active)
- Umbra sp? (Mudminnows, may be too big, but VERY cold tolerant)
Anybody have experience with any of these fishes? Any others that I missed? Thanks
