Any Experience Treating Betta Fin Rot?

My betta suffering from fin rot and I have tried aquarium salt baths for the past few days and daily/every other day water changes for two weeks, and adding tons of IALs and other tannin to his tank and he's only getting worse. I have done hours of research on treatments and I am only more confused about what I should do.... I just want to know if anyone has successfully treated fin rot and how?

It will take more than 2 weeks of daily/every other day WCs to heal fin rot. I've treated missing scales/minor wounds on a betta and had much success with frequent WCs and IALs. Can you fill out the template below and add pictures of the betta if you can?

Did you consider API erythromycin? How much water are you taking out?

Fin rot can be caused by several diseases with similar syimptoms. Some are bacterial; some are fungal. Proper diagnosis of the issue is important so you use the appropriate treatment. Antibiotics do not work well against fungus and fungus meds do not work well against bacteria. You might need to use both if you cannot determine the underlying cause.

You might try a combination of the antibiotic Erythromycin (Maracyn) along with methylene blue to treat fungus.

Although Melafix will not cure fin rot, it my help the fish heal the damaged tissue.
