I have a 125 gallon tank with a few different smaller community fish and so far my killifish and rainbows have been breeding fairly often. At first it was ok because of the size of my tank and I started with 4. Now I have 6 In the main tank and another 6 in the fry tank. It is really awesome to see them mature into beautiful fish but im worried about this reoccurring. Also my mystery snail population is out of control. I had only one and forgot to check the top of the glass for about two months and now I have about 8 full egg sacs. I removed most of them but I must have missed a few because there are babies all over the tank. Any advice? I would hate to give the extras to a LFS with their reputations.

keep the males in one tank and the females in the other tank.

for the snails maybe check for any aquarium groups/clubs in your area.

I only have one tank and the other is being used for fry currently. My girlfriend would kill me if I set up another tank
