Anubias melting/rotting?

Not sure if normal but some of the leaves on the Anubias’ I have in my tank are turning a dark brown. Not sure what could be the problem, I do still see new growth on each plant but it is only happening to the Anubias plants. The sword plants I have are doing great no browning at all. Could it be lack of nutrients or too much? When I do my water changes i dose the tank with flourish and Fluval gro+.

It looks a bit like Nitrogen deficiency to me, I am sure the fertilizer members can provide a more detailed diagnosis. While swords are root feeders and anubias are water column feeders, you may see the different impact. Changing fertilizer may help. easy green or Thrive may have more of the nutrients your plant would need.

Ok I will have to order some, no lfs near me carries it. I bought flourish since it was the only thing they had and when I first introduced the plants into the aquarium I know I needed to add some type of nutrients. In the mean time should I add a little more than what I have usually been adding?

Yes, I still have a bottle of Flourish in the fridge, and don't use it....If you do not have anything else there is no harm continuing to use it until you get your other fertilizer.

So I found out my plants weren’t dying at all. I removed all the plants and just wiped them with a sponge and all the black/brown parts came off. I don’t know if maybe it could have been some type of algae but my plants are right back to green again after the wipe down.
