Anubias leaves changing colour

Just curious .... my anubias has some lightening on one of its leaves and I am concerned what could cause it? It seems to only be one leaf at the moment, the rest seem fine ....

It isn't the best picture but it is the best I can do at present ....

Are you talking about that white stuff on the leaf or is that just reflection from the lights?

If you mean the light green leaf, new leaves are often light green then darken over time, at least with my anubias

That is not a new leaf .... that is one of the original leaf and it was darker at first ..... guess I will just have to wait and see.

Yellowing can mean a variety of things. Take a look at this list and see if anything matches...

Ok .... well we planted it before there was nitrogen in the tank ... now that Nitrites and Nitrates are starting to build up perhaps it will correct itself! Thanks.

Is this tank cycled? There shouldn't be nitrites in a cycled tank, and it is harmful to fish.

a) no, the tank is in the process of cycling and b) there are no fish for that reason
