Anubias has small brown spots

Hello, I have recently added plants to my 5 Gallon cycled betta tank and the Anubias has developed these small brown spots on the leaves. What could be the cause of this?I currently don't have any co2 in there but I am adding seachem flourish and will soon start adding Seachem Excel once it arrives in the mail. Also I have the Anubias planted in gravel and the water temperature is 77 farenhite. Could the light be the issue? I am using a 10 watt 10.5 inch clip on light which I bought on Amazon >>> If I am doing something wrong or should start doing something please let me know would love to hear any tips.

I think they are diatoms and they will go away on their own. They sometimes happen in new tanks, so it's probably nothing to worry about.

IMO it looks like brown algae. Just wipe it off. Not going to harm your fish in any way. If you want to keep it away you could get a nerite snail. They are great algae eaters.

I would pull your anubias out of the gravel, if the rhizome is buried it can rot and kill the plant.
