Anubias Gracelis Help

nsta

Hi,

I have a 65 gallon tank with 4 small angels and 6 danios..

I haven’t stocked it yet

The tank is cycled and has few anubias variieties.

All are doing well...however one plant is having some issues...after I had kept it emersed for two day when I kept the water level low.

It had a new leaf, but somehow they have started getting brown spots and one leaf is melting.

I have a normal 6500k LED tube and use only Banana peel DIY fert.

Except one melting yellow leaf rest have brown brown spots but look ok.

Can anyone help me identify the issue...

Thanks

Frank the Fish guy

Our Anubias will have yellow leaves like yours if C02 is too low. C02 is the most fundamental fert for plants. We inject some C02 naturally using a yeast/sugar system. Keeps the plants from turning yellow like this.

This is nothing sophisticated. Just a simple system: http://www.hagen.com/pdf/aquatic/CO2_Manual.pdf

Just water/sugar and yeast added once a month.
