Another unwanted visitor??

I found this creature lurking in my salt tank last night.....I'm hoping this resident is not harmful.....He is fast as lightening! Is this what they call a spaghettI worm? If so, is he harmful?

 

Looks like a peanut worm to me. Very good. It will help keep your sand clean and stirred. As well as cleaning out in between rocks. They're a pretty common beneficial hitch hiker.

 

how does that get in your tank? Was it always inside the live rock?

 

I am still amazed at what grows and comes with LR..

Live rock can come with numerous critters in it. A lot comes right out of the ocean so whatever hung on for the ride may make it all the way to your tank.
