Another API PH test kit question

Freshwater!~ I can't for the life of me tell what color this is closest to, I feel like I'm crazy. If I can't get the hang of using this liquid ph test kit, I will try to return it and get something else. The API 5-in-1 strips are bad too in regards to ph, they're practically useless when you need to know about ph.
Can someone please help me figure out what the ph in this test is? The first two pics are in natural light, second two are in artificial lighting. It's just so unclear. Any tips are welcome for reading these too. I'm looking at maybe getting a Fluval ph test kit, has anyone had any experience with those, are they easier to read?

 

Looks like a 7.2 to me or maybe a 7.0

 

I would say looks around 7.2. Mine always look around 7.4 or 7.6 which I will say it's 7.6 for good measures. I rather for it to be higher then less, from my perspective!

 

I have the same issues. Between seven and 7.2. You will know if it’s below because it’s definitely a greenish color rather than bluish.

 

I would put it at around 7. I find when I our it out into my stainless steel sink, it seems easier to read...maybe just me????
